Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Indelib LLC (“Indelib”, “we”) collects, uses, and protects personal data in connection with:

  • the armeebadge.ch website (ArmeeBadge), and
  • the MilGuide mobile app,

in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP / nLPD) and applicable data protection principles.

2. Data we collect

2.1 ArmeeBadge order data (website / WhatsApp / invoice)

We collect the data necessary to process orders and deliver products:

  • Identity & contact: first name, last name, email address, phone number
  • Shipping address: full postal address
  • Customization content: text, section information, and any content you provide (e.g., files, logos, images), depending on the order
  • Order history: items, options (standard/express), status (in production, shipped, etc.)
  • Support communications: messages and attachments exchanged with us (including via WhatsApp)

2.2 Payment data (Stripe / Wise)

  • Card payments: processed via Stripe. Indelib does not store and never accesses your banking details (card number, IBAN, etc.).
  • Bank transfers: processed via Wise. We store only the transaction reference/number and information strictly necessary for accounting reconciliation.

2.3 MilGuide app data (NFC)

MilGuide may process:

  • User-provided data, at your choice (non-exhaustive examples): first/last name, Instagram, comments, Snapchat, WhatsApp, music, blood group, etc.
  • NFC / redirection: scanning a badge opens a URL.

2.4 Technical data and analytics

  • Technical data: device type, operating system, language, and technical information required for operation and security
  • Audience measurement: via Simple Analytics
  • Advertising / conversions: via Google Ads (conversion)

2.5 Data we do not collect (by default)

  • We do not collect precise GPS location by default.
  • We do not collect banking details (card number, IBAN).
  • We do not seek to collect sensitive data under the revFADP.
    However, data may be sensitive if you choose to provide it in MilGuide (e.g., blood group). In that case, it is processed only to provide the feature you requested.

3. Purposes of processing

We process personal data to:

  • handle ArmeeBadge requests, previews (mock-ups), and orders
  • produce and ship badges
  • provide customer support and follow-up (questions, changes, delivery)
  • handle accounting and compliance (invoicing, proof of payment)
  • ensure security, prevent fraud, and detect anomalies
  • provide MilGuide features (e.g., displaying the information you chose via the NFC/URL flow)
  • measure audience and improve the experience (Simple Analytics)
  • measure the effectiveness of Google Ads (conversion) campaigns

4. Legal bases

We process data on the following bases:

  • Performance of a contract: order management, production, delivery, support
  • Legitimate interests: security, fraud prevention, service improvement, usage statistics, quality
  • Consent: where required, in particular for certain cookies/technologies and advertising (via your browser/consent banner where applicable)

5. Hosting and processors

5.1 Hosting (Switzerland)

You have indicated that all data stored by Indelib is hosted in Switzerland, with Infomaniak.

5.2 Service providers

We use service providers to operate the Platform:

  • Infomaniak (Switzerland): hosting
  • Simple Analytics: audience measurement
  • Google Ads: advertising conversions
  • Stripe: card payments
  • Wise: bank transfers

Some providers operate their own infrastructure. Their processing is governed by their respective policies.

5.3 No data sales

Indelib does not sell your personal data to third parties.

6. Internal use within Indelib (other services / brands)

Indelib reserves the right to use certain data, to the extent necessary and proportionate, in order to:

  • improve its services (quality, security, user experience),
  • improve internal processes and tools,
  • and, where applicable, optimize other brands/services operated by Indelib.

Where possible, Indelib prioritizes aggregated or anonymized data.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

7.1 On armeebadge.ch

The website may use:

  • audience measurement technologies (Simple Analytics),
  • technologies related to Google Ads (conversion).

7.2 On the MilGuide app

The app may use technical identifiers and events required for operation and connectivity, as well as usage measurement depending on configuration.

7.3 Managing consent

You can manage or withdraw consent:

  • via your browser settings (website),
  • via your device settings (app),
  • and/or via the consent banner where displayed.

8. Retention

Unless a longer legal obligation applies, data is retained for 2 years:

  • order and invoicing data: 2 years
  • support communications (email/WhatsApp): 2 years
  • MilGuide data (user-provided content): 2 years
  • analytics: 2 years

After that, data may be deleted or anonymized/aggregated.

9. Security

Indelib implements technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure, including:

  • access control,
  • server security,
  • encryption of communications where applicable,
  • incident management procedures.

10. Your rights (revFADP / nLPD)

You may request:

  • access to your data,
  • rectification of inaccurate data,
  • erasure (subject to legal obligations),
  • objection to certain processing,
  • data portability where applicable.

Response time: generally within 30 days.

11. Data breach notifications

If a data breach is likely to result in a high risk to individuals’ rights and freedoms, Indelib will inform affected individuals and, where required, notify the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), in accordance with the revFADP.

12. Minors

The Platform is not specifically intended for minors. Where required, minors should use the Platform with the consent of a legal representative.

13. Updates

Indelib may update this Privacy Policy to reflect legal, technical, or operational changes. The current version is published here:

14. Prevailing language

This policy may be available in multiple languages. In case of discrepancies, the French version shall prevail.
