Terms and Conditions of Sale

These Terms and Conditions of Sale (the “T&Cs”) govern any order of custom badges offered under the ArmeeBadge brand, placed via the website, a payment link, WhatsApp, or by invoice, where the order refers to these T&Cs.

VAT

The applicable VAT status (if any) is stated on the invoice and/or at the time of ordering. Prices are shown in CHF unless otherwise indicated.


1. Purpose and scope

1.1 Purpose

These T&Cs set out the conditions for the sale of custom badges (and related options) made to order.

1.2 Ordering channels

These T&Cs apply to orders placed via:

  • the website armeebadge.ch,
  • a payment link provided by ArmeeBadge,
  • WhatsApp,
  • an invoice (payment by bank transfer).

1.3 Acceptance

Any design approval, order confirmation and/or payment constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these T&Cs.


2. Products, customization, and preview

2.1 Products offered

ArmeeBadge currently sells custom badges only.

2.2 Mandatory preview and approval

Before payment, ArmeeBadge always provides a preview / mock-up.

  • The customer must approve the preview before proceeding to payment.
  • Until the preview is approved, the order is not considered confirmed.
  • Any change requests before approval may affect the overall timeline (production + delivery).

2.3 Customer-supplied content

If the customer supplies text, logos, insignia, images, or any other elements, the customer warrants they hold the necessary rights. The customer remains responsible for such content.


3. Price and payment

3.1 Price

Prices are shown in CHF and communicated on the website, via the payment link, or on the invoice.

3.2 Lead-time options

  • Standard: 6 weeks, delivery included, no surcharge
  • Express: 4 weeks, surcharge of CHF 15

The above times include production + delivery and are expressed in business days.

3.3 Payment methods

Payment is possible:

  • by card (via payment link),
  • by bank transfer in CHF (by invoice).

3.4 Due date

Payment is due after preview approval and before production starts.
Production starts after payment confirmation (or after funds are received for bank transfers).


4. Ordering process

  1. The customer submits a request (website / WhatsApp / other official channel).
  2. ArmeeBadge sends a preview.
  3. The customer approves the preview.
  4. ArmeeBadge sends the payment link or the invoice.
  5. The customer pays.
  6. Production starts, then the order ships.

5. Cancellations, returns, and refunds

5.1 Final nature of the order

Once payment is made, the order becomes final and binding.

5.2 No returns / no refunds

Given the custom nature of the products:

  • no returns are accepted,
  • no refunds are granted,
  • no cancellation is possible after payment,

except in the case of a proven defect attributable to ArmeeBadge (see Section 8).


6. Delivery

6.1 Shipping methods

Delivery is primarily handled via:

  • Swiss Post (including field post / military addresses where applicable),
  • and possibly FedEx depending on the situation.

6.2 Delivery times

  • Standard: 6 weeks (business days)
  • Express: 4 weeks (business days)

The stated timeframe starts once all of the following are met:

  • preview approved,
  • payment confirmed (or funds received for bank transfer),
  • complete and accurate shipping information provided.

6.3 Address and customer information

The customer is responsible for ensuring shipping details are correct (name, address, codes, unit, etc.).
ArmeeBadge is not responsible for delays, loss, returns, or extra costs caused by:

  • an incomplete/incorrect address,
  • inability to deliver (access issues, mailbox restrictions, site limitations, etc.),
  • or any incorrect information provided by the customer.

7. NFC features and compatibility

If the badge includes NFC functionality:

  • a NFC-capable smartphone is required,
  • and the MilGuide app must be used on Android and iOS.

ArmeeBadge does not guarantee operation on non-compatible devices or in environments where installing/using the required app is restricted.


8. Warranty and defects

8.1 Principle

In the event of a manufacturing defect or non-conformity attributable to ArmeeBadge, the customer may contact ArmeeBadge to obtain, depending on the case:

  • a correction / remake,
  • or another appropriate solution (at ArmeeBadge’s discretion), within the limits of applicable law.

8.2 Procedure

Any claim must be sent to team@armeebadge.ch with:

  • order number,
  • description of the issue,
  • photos/videos showing the defect.

8.3 Exclusions (examples)

The following are not considered defects attributable to ArmeeBadge:

  • normal wear and tear,
  • damage after delivery (misuse, modifications, impact, improper care),
  • minor variations due to materials/processes,
  • customization errors resulting from information approved by the customer in the preview.

9. Intellectual property and previews

Previews/mock-ups and visuals provided before payment remain the property of ArmeeBadge.
They may not be reproduced, distributed, or used (including production by a third party) without written authorization.


10. Liability

ArmeeBadge is only liable for proven direct damages resulting from intent or gross negligence, to the extent permitted by law.
Indirect damages are excluded (loss of time, loss of opportunity, etc.).
To the extent permitted, ArmeeBadge’s total liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant order.


11. Personal data

Data required to process the order (contact, shipping, customization content) is processed solely to fulfill the sale and provide customer support. A privacy policy may be published on the website.


12. Changes to the T&Cs

ArmeeBadge may amend these T&Cs at any time. The applicable version is the one in force at the time the preview is approved and payment is made (binding order).


13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These T&Cs are governed by Swiss law.
In the event of a dispute, the parties will first seek an amicable resolution. Failing that:

  • for buyers domiciled in Switzerland: the consumer’s local courts will have jurisdiction where applicable under Swiss rules,
  • for buyers outside Switzerland: exclusive venue is the Canton of Geneva.

14. Prevailing language

These T&Cs may be made available in multiple languages. In case of interpretation discrepancies, the French version shall prevail.
